Ty McKery has spent over 15 years inside some of the most relationship-driven rooms in the entertainment industry. From the offices of Spirit Music Group to the halls of BMI, she built her career reading people, navigating high-stakes creative dynamics, and helping talent find their footing when the industry made that feel impossible. What she learned is that the greatest gift you can give someone isn't advice. It's the experience of being truly seen by someone honest enough to tell you the truth and bold enough to refuse to let you settle for less than what you were made for.

That conviction became Lamp + Stone.

 Ty holds a Project Management Professional Certification from UCLA, but her real education started when her entertainment industry internship became a full-time job before she ever finished her degree. Some people study the room. Ty built her career inside it. At the height of that career she was doing what few people in any industry are trusted to do: identifying raw potential, developing it with intention, and protecting it from the forces most likely to diminish it. Her leadership training deepened that foundation, equipping her with tools for people assessment, team dynamics, and stakeholder management, the kind of skills that taught her how to get the best out of people without burning them out in the process. Today that combined background shapes the backbone of her coaching practice, bringing structure, accountability, and real human insight to every session. The inner work is real. So is the plan. 

She is also the author of two books. Tylor Tells The Truth teaches children the courage to do right in complicated moments, and Talk To You Nice invites adults to speak truth over themselves in even the hardest seasons. Both books circle the same conviction: that honesty, directed inward and outward, is where real transformation begins.
